Kick Ass or Ass Kick?

After hearing so many great feedbacks for Kick Ass, I was interested to watch it myself. I’ve got my chance tonight after having a lovely Japanese meal with Richard, Ioanna, Chung and Carmen. It wasn’t expensive and it’s run by real Japnese. No offense but I believe people know how to make their own cultural food best. Anyway, we went back to Carmen’s place for Ioanna’s birthday cake and then sat down for a movie. We watched the beginning of Saw 6 and it’s gross!  Man, I shouldn’t even mentioned it or else I might have nightmare about it. Arrgggg…… sigh. Back to what I was saying, as you can guessed we ended up watching Kick Ass.

The movie is more violent than I expected it and more bloody too. It’s full of action and you’ll see blood splattered every 5 minutes? The film reflects on normal, originally people’s wish to become or to have a heroic figure. You’ll see a lot of bad guys during the movie and they all come with knives and guns. I like ‘Hit Girl’. I think she is really cool; being a 12 years old she could really fight. ‘Kick Ass’ on the other hand I should applaused his bravery to stand up and do something about it while he is as weak as a chicken. I’m going to be a spoiler and said, I don’t like how ‘Big Daddy’ got killed at the end! This film is not realistic anyway, so why not just kill all the bad guys and have the good guys win AND ALIVE! Personally, I just don’t like people die in movies. Normally I would chose comedy, romance and animated movies. Anyway, the combination of music/sound and action is really good. Overall, I think it’s ok. It’s not as good as others put it to be or I just had a high expectation of it from the beginning due to many good feedbacks?

Oh well~ I should blog about another movie I’ve watched a couple of days agao. It’s a korean movie and is not as serious. It’s a comedy. I might do that tomorrow.

Three..You’ve just regain my trust by a little

In my ex-blog, I’ve ranted about how Three charged me for the 10 days of BlackBerry service without letting me know I could have used it on the day which I’ve got my phone. I’ve also filed a complain with no reply. Dead silence from their end. I wasn’t happy when I received my bill on Monday. The charges weren’t very clear. In the ‘Other charges and credits’ section. I have this cancellation fee and a phone installment waiver credit. At the time when I read it, I thought I’ve got charged for cancellation (which I did not or else I wouldn’t have waited for 10 days!) and the $9.20 is for monthly BlackyBerry service pack credit (which should have been $10).

Tonight, I made a call to Three to find out what the cancellation fee is and why the credit don’t match up to the advertisement. It turns out, the $9.20 credit is to cover the $2.6 cancellation fee and the $6.6 they charged for the BlackBerry service last month! But then,  they didn’t give me the $10 credit as advertised. The call center girl told me there was a note on my account waiting for approval. So, she approves it and the amount will be changed accordingly. Although, it’s not a huge amount but it’s the principal that counts. I’m happy that it’s solved and I’m getting my money back.

Write from the heart

I enjoy writing my blog but I do have problems. I could not write as beautiful as others with perfect English and vocabularies. Its not easy to put feelings and thoughts into proper writing. From times, it is very time consuming to write a blog post because like now I couldn’t find any words to use. I don’t want to give up and I will not give up. Determination is the key! Some day in the future I could be able to look at this from hindsight and proudly say I have improved!

Another blog site….AGAIN

It feels like I’ve betrayed all my other blog sites when I decided to sign up to WordPress. Sometimes I just need more than a simple blog site to satisfy my blogging needs. I’ve used Tumblr, Xanga and Window Live Space. All are special in their unique ways but each is missing something that I desire. WordPress simply has everything I want in a bundle for free. Who could have say no to that? Let’s hope I won’t need to sign up to another blog site again.

Startlight Day

I have forgotten today is the Starlight Day where table stands will be set up across Melbourne. I saw the bill board every day getting to work and I still managed to have forgotten about it. Anyway, I saw the table stand at Southgate as I was withdrawing money. Luckily I didn’t have enough money on me today or else I could have missed out. I just like buying charity merchandies! I like the goods yet still help out ppl in needs. That’s what I call two birds with one stone. Anyway, I’ve got myself a silver pen and a squeeze ball. Hope you guys have bought something to help those sick kids too .
